Still Dusty

My eyes are still very dry. The dust in the air is thick, and the wind hasn't stopped much. Yesterday, we took a walk to the Catholic Church of all Nations. This church is built over a rock that is believed to be THE rock that Jesus knelt on in the Garden of Gethsemane. From there, we walked through a garden dedicated to Orson Hyde, where in 1841 (?) he prayed to bless the land, and later President Kimball inaugurated the land in 1979. This is the view from that garden of the dusty city across the Kidron Valley.

View of the BYU JC center across some homes that are south of the center.

  1. Hi Sweetie. I was there, at that dedication (the Orson Hyde Park) in 1979! What fun to see what you are seeing each day. Thank you.
