12 October - Neot Kedumim
We had the most interesting field trip today! We went to Neot Kedumim - this Bible nature reserve. They have every plant that is mentioned in the Bible! We got to walk through everything and taste things off the trees, we got to practice herding sheep and goats. We tasted figs, pomegranates, random berries, leaves, hyssop, dates...we drew water from a cistern. We got to cook food over a fire!! We made lentil soup, mint tea, wheat grain snacks, and pita bread.
